Dear Colleagues and Friends of Phlebology,
It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 5th International Symposium on Venous Interventions, which will occur in the picturesque city of Cracow, Poland, December 2016.
The topic of the meeting, organized by the Polish Society of Phlebology in collaboration with the American Venous Forum, will be Modern Phlebology.
During the Symposium, we will have interactive sessions in order to share and exchange knowledge concerning modern approaches to invasive and conservative treatment of acute and chronic venous disease. A diverse International Faculty with speakers from the American Venous Forum and world-renowned experts in the field of Phlebology, will provide a unique opportunity to discuss various aspects of modern treatments of venous disease. The program, which was created in collaboration with the American Venous Forum, will include topics concerning conservative and invasive treatment of venous thromboembolism and chronic venous obstruction. A significant portion of the Symposium will be dedicated to superficial vein pathology treatment, including the implementation of modern technology. The conference lectures and discussions will be supplemented by live case presentations as well as hands-on workshops.
The Symposium will take place in the Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University in beautiful Cracow – a city with wonderful architecture and extraordinary and unique atmosphere which is especially beautiful in the winter. The conference begins on the 8th of December with workshops in the late afternoon. On the 9th and 10th of December, please join us in the main hall of the Auditorium where the lectures, discussions, and live case transmission will continue for two days of the very intensive programing. The entire conference will be in English, and translation into Polish language will be available.
On behalf of the Polish Society of Phlebology and the American Venous Forum, we are looking forward to welcoming you to Cracow, Poland in December. We wish all of you a successful meeting—may you enjoy interesting, thought-provoking discussions and new experiences which, we hope, will also improve the care of the patients with venous disease in your country.
Sincerely,
Tomasz Urbanek Lowell S. Kabnick
