The 6th evf HOW 2015 takes place in Poland. It is the most comprehensive workshop in venous disease in Europe. It is provided for you who want an introduction or need an update of the management of venous disease. The workshop provides a unique programme focused on hands-on learning, a review of the latest updates and “state-of-the art” management of venous disease. Share in discussions and live demonstrations, bring your own case report and actively engage with the faculty and industrial partners in an informal atmosphere!

The workshop is open to all specialty physicians, including physicians in training, wanting to learn the latest in venous disease management. Participants are limited to 100: “first come, first served”

Bring your own case

We want the learner to present his/her own case in a powerpoint presentation. It may be unique and rare cases, but also common patients and procedures, which are well illustrated. The presentations should be constructed so that it allows stepwise discussion between the participants and faculty during the presentation. The allocated time for each case is restricted to 15 minutes including discussion. The submitted presentations will be approved for presenation by the organizing committee. The best case presentation by a learner during the meeting will have the registration fee reimbursed.

This website is password protected and available to you before, during and after the workshop. You will have access to the presentations, important references and guidelines, the case reports, and supplementary information about the workshop stations. By repeated visits you can enhance your learning experience. It was introduced 2 years ago and has become an instant success. For continued access the organizing committee ask you to fill out the MCQ tests and assessment form after the meeting.

Pre- and post- MCQ test and learners'assessment - win an iPAD

Before you can access the full study material on the dedicated website you are asked to take a MCQ test. After the workshop you are again requested to take a MCQ test. The test results are not individualized, but analyzed as a group. The purpose of the test is to improve the structure of the EVF HOW learning experience and has no impact on your personal participation or outcome at the end of the workshop. At the end of the workshop you are also asked to give your assessment of the workshop's instruction and structure. The MCQ test and assessment are on-line. To encourage you to complete these tasks, EVF HOW will draw a winner among the learners. The winner will receive an iPAD.
