Objective: Designed and planned by experienced vascular surgeons and phlebologists, this unique, extremely practical course is dedicated to those who want to start the endovenous treatment or improve their abilities in the most popular and recommended modalities in phlebology – endovenous laser and sclerotherapy. After short lectures, the vast majority of the time will be spent practising and not only on phantoms and simulators, but mainly through live procedures. Each participant will be able to take part in at least 2 endovenous laser and 4 sclerotherapy sessions and check their abilities under the supervision of experienced surgeons. The course will open the gates for you towards your own procedures. If you have started already and have some experience in the field, it will be a great opportunity to compare procedures with the experts and improve your skills. There will be no unanswered questions. Do not hesitate to treat the patient, as the tutors know how to guide you.
Pre-Learning: Knowledge of ESVS 2022 Practical Guidelines on the Management of Chronic Venous Disease (Eur J Vasc Endovasc Surg (2022) 63, 184-267) will be beneficial.
Target audience: The course is designed for physicians (vascular surgical/angiological trainees or specialists) who are planning to start endovenous treatment for chronic venous disease or for those who have some experience, but want to develop their skills. Some prior experience in the field of chronic venous disease treatment will be beneficial, but is not mandatory.
