Pre-congress Workshop “Surgical Crown Lengthening in the Aesthetic and Functional Zones”

The Polish Society of Periodontology pre-congress workshop “Surgical Crown Lengthening in the Aesthetic and Functional Zones” (Chirurgiczne wydłużanie koron klinicznych w strefie estetycznej i funkcjonalnej) will take place on 11 March 2027. Instructors: Prof. Marta Cześnikiewicz-Guzik and Dr Agata Zielińska-Pałasz. The course includes a 2-hour theoretical part in two modules – the aesthetic zone and the functional zone: indications, biology of the supracrestal tissues, diagnosis and planning, flap design, osteotomy and osteoplasty, suturing techniques, complications, and cooperation with the prosthodontist. The 3-hour practical part is performed on pig head specimens – each participant carries out a complete clinical crown lengthening procedure independently under the supervision of instructors.
