A comprehensive compendium of current theoretical knowledge enriched with years of practical experience, delivered as an online course (flexible access – log in at any time). Designed for physicians involved in varicose vein treatment. The course covers all aspects of planning and performing laser procedures, including difficulties, adverse effects, and complications. Created without AI tools – based on the knowledge and over a decade of experience of the authors, in both performing endovenous procedures and conducting hands-on training. Includes thirty chapters illustrated with diagrams, photos, and video. The course concludes with a knowledge test. Upon completion, an optional next stage is available – individual practical training, including exercises on phantoms and assisting in endovenous procedures. The “Zakrzepica 2026” (Thrombosis 2026) conference, held on the occasion of World Thrombosis Day, will take place on 10 October 2026 at the Sound Garden Hotel in Warsaw. The event is held under the patronage of the Polish Phlebological Society (PTF). Organiser: Medycyna Praktyczna. The programme comprises four lecture sessions with panel discussions (9:40–17:05). Topics include current standards in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of venous thromboembolism, a diagnostic algorithm for deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism, the role of D-dimer, choosing an anticoagulant (DOAC, LMWH, VKA), treatment of acute pulmonary embolism and catheter-directed therapies, extended treatment after a first VTE episode and VTE recurrence, VTE in cancer patients, factor XI/XIa inhibitors, antiphospholipid syndrome, and complications after pulmonary embolism, including chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension. Speakers include Prof. Piotr Pruszczyk, Prof. Anetta Undas, Prof. Jerzy Windyga, Prof. Tomasz Urbanek, Prof. Zbigniew Krasiński and Prof. Piotr Terlecki. The programme is not final and may change. The XIII International Conference "Aesthetic Phlebology" will take place on October 16–18, 2026 at Novotel Poznań Centrum. Scientific patronage and supervision: Polish Society of Phlebology (PTF). The second edition of the Endovascular Angiology in Cracow (Krakowska Angiologia Endowaskularna) – Live Case conference will take place on 4–5 December 2026 at the Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology in Kraków, Poland (ul. M. Konopnickiej 26). The event is held under the patronage of the Polish Phlebological Society (PTF), the Polish Society of Angiology (PTA) and the Jagiellonian University Medical College in Kraków. Scientific director: Prof. Paweł Maga, MD, PhD. Organisers: Fundacja ANGIOFOUND, the Department of Angiology of the University Hospital in Kraków, and Medycyna Praktyczna. The conference is addressed to angiologists, vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, cardiologists and physicians of other specialties with an interest in vascular diseases, endovascular procedures and the related pharmacological treatment. This year's topics cover endovascular procedures in peripheral arteries and in the venous system. The highlight of the conference is live-transmitted endovascular procedures performed by experienced specialists. During each procedure, participants can ask questions, comment and discuss with the operator and a panel of experts.
