Support for scientific and educational development in phlebology
PTF Grants Program
The Polish Phlebological Society awards educational grants for participation in both domestic and international conferences. These grants are awarded depending on the availability of funds that can be used for educational purposes related to Polish phlebologists attending conferences both in Poland and abroad. Information about available grants is posted on the PTF website on an ongoing basis, along with announcements about application deadlines for obtaining this type of grant.
Within the framework of available and obtained funds, it is also possible to award both educational and scientific grants in cooperation with other entities supporting the Polish Phlebological Society in achieving its statutory goals (including companies operating in the field of phlebology interests). In the case of obtaining this type of funds, information about both educational and scientific grants is posted on an ongoing basis on the PTF website, along with the deadline and application conditions.
Awards of the Polish Phlebological Society, as well as honorary member titles of PTF are awarded in accordance with the decisions and resolutions of the Board of the Polish Phlebological Society, and information about them is published on the Society website.
Scientific Grant of the Polish Phlebological Society
REGULATIONS
The scientific grant of the Polish Phlebological Society is awarded to enable training as well as scientific development for doctors dealing with phlebology.
Participation conditions
Doctors with current right to practice medicine, members of the Polish Phlebological Society and not in arrears with membership fees, aged up to 45 years inclusive, may apply for the grant.
Grant purpose
The purpose of the grant is to enable participation in an international scientific congress in the field of phlebology. The assumption of the project is the active participation of Polish phlebologists in a congress in the field of phlebology with a high substantive level and international scope.
Financing
The number of people who can receive a grant in each subsequent year is limited and will be announced in each subsequent edition of the competition. The grant is fully financed from the funds of the Polish Phlebological Society.
In concern for the scientific development of PTF members, the Board of the Polish Phlebological Society adopted a resolution to award two grants in 2024 in the amount of PLN 5,000 (the amount of the awarded grant includes tax), including one in the winter session and one grant in the summer session.
Application deadlines
Accepting applications for obtaining a PTF scientific grant takes place in two rounds:
- Winter session – submitting applications until February 1
- Summer session – submitting applications until August 1 of each year

The decision on granting a grant regarding active participation in international congresses (submission and presentation of work) is made by the PTF Board after reviewing the submitted candidates.
