About the Publication
The book "Diseases of Veins and Lymphatic Vessels" is the Polish edition of the fourth American edition of "Handbook of Venous and Lymphatic Disorders."
This handbook, first published in 1996, has become one of the most important reference points for doctors and other medical professionals dealing with diseases of veins and lymphatic vessels. Using evidence-based medicine reports, this handbook comprehensively presents problems related to:
- chronic venous disease
- venous thromboembolic disease
- venous ulcers
- a series of other disorders of the venous and lymphatic system
The new edition of the handbook has been completely updated, allowing the knowledge contained in it to be adapted to current training programs and reflect the enormous progress that has been made in the field of minimally invasive percutaneous intravascular procedures.

The handbook was published under the editorship of Prof. Peter Gloviczki, the scientific editors of the Polish edition are professors Piotr Andziak and Tomasz Zubilewicz.
