About the Publication
The book "Diseases of Veins and Lymphatic Vessels" is the Polish edition of the fourth American edition of "Handbook of Venous and Lymphatic Disorders."
This handbook, first published in 1996, has become one of the most important reference points for doctors and other medical professionals dealing with diseases of veins and lymphatic vessels. Drawing on evidence-based medicine, this handbook comprehensively presents problems related to:
- chronic venous disease
- venous thromboembolism
- venous ulcers
- a range of other venous and lymphatic disorders
The new edition of the handbook has been completely updated, allowing the knowledge contained in it to be adapted to current training programmes and to reflect the enormous progress that has been made in the field of minimally invasive percutaneous intravascular procedures.
Editorial Team
The handbook was edited by Prof. Peter Gloviczki; the scientific editors of the Polish edition are Prof. Piotr Andziak and Prof. Tomasz Zubilewicz.
