Dear Colleagues

Members and supporters of the Polish Phlebology Society

The PTF Board's 2021-2024 term is coming to an end. It has been a great challenge for me as President of our society. This was a time of pandemic and related restrictions, including changes in the format of conferences and meetings. I am convinced that as a community we proved ourselves and despite life's adversities, we managed to use this time of "plague" for the good of primarily our patients.

The numerous webinars, training sessions, and individual congresses organized were well received. Two flagship conferences, which I include Aesthetic Phlebology and World Thrombosis Day, have permanently entered the calendar of meetings for people interested in phlebology. I heartily congratulate and thank everyone involved in organizing and implementing these meetings.

The introduction of a system for managing mailings and maintaining the Society's website is also a success. As Polish Phlebologists, we find recognition and are recognizable in the country and worldwide. The achievement of multiplying PTF's income is also significant, and the finances available in the account allow us to look to the future with optimism.

In the 2021-24 term, we thoroughly changed our statute, which I consider a great achievement of the board. I can say with full force that thanks to the fruitful cooperation of the PTF board, many meetings and discussions in a narrow circle, we managed to maintain unity of action direction and increase the number of members.

Therefore, I look to the future of vein disease treatment in Poland with full optimism, thanking all PTF members for their trust, the board for cooperation and great help, sponsors for understanding and favor, and congress organizers for professionalism.

Thanking finally for these 3 years important in my personal life, I wish everyone good health, PTF stable development, and my successor Professor Piotr Terlecki to lead our PTF to an even higher level.
