Development of the Society from 1991 to today
The Polish Phlebological Society was originally established as the Phlebological Society in Katowice in 1991. The name was changed to the Polish Phlebological Society in 1992 during the II General Assembly of Members. The first president of the Society was Dr. Tomasz Drążkiewicz and the I PTF Congress was held in Bielsko-Biała in 1994.
